Infomercial This morning I made us an exceptional breakfast of French toast with bacon. JD even gave it a TWO THUMBS UP! I want to let you in on the secret behind it. Besides the farm fresh eggs I used Hy Vee Bakery's Shepard's Bread for the French toast. It's great texture and flavor set the the bar a notch higher for this morning essential. The Sugardale extra thick sliced bacon is new to our store... only 10 slices to a pound of bacon but it fried up so nice and lean without a bunch of shrinkage and grease. It's out of Canton, Ohio so if you see it in your local market give it a try. Smoked and cured to perfection I intend to buy this brand more often. Topped off with home made maple syrup it proved to be a great way to start our day. |
